A clay supplier for ceramics and construction
As a clay supplier drawing direct from the Bestari Jaya concession, our clay production is used for manufacturing pottery, bricks, mosaic and roof tiles. Our Grade A and Grade B ball clay serves ceramic tiles, brick making and pottery alike. We work closely with clients and communities to drive development of the construction industry throughout the business life cycle — asset development, operations optimisation, integrated products, and restoration and reuse.
Clay from Bestari Jaya divides into two grades, and the distinction matters — they are not interchangeable. Both are won and processed through the same extraction and washing operations as our sand.

Two grades
The difference is chemical composition and fineness. Choose by application.
Grade A Clay
The finer grade, with a chemical composition suitable for finer grades of ceramic material — mosaic tiles and stonewares. Widely used in construction, and even in cosmetics.
Fine · Ceramic grade
Grade B Clay
A more impure clay, widely used in construction — particularly for making bricks, tiles and pottery. The workhorse grade.
