What this website collects
This is a static website. It has no database, no user accounts, and no login. We want to be specific about what that means in practice:
Enquiry forms
The enquiry forms on this site do not send anything to our servers. When you complete a form and submit it, your browser opens WhatsApp with the details you entered already written into a message. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it in WhatsApp. At that point the message reaches us through WhatsApp, and WhatsApp’s own privacy terms apply to it.
The same applies if you contact us by telephone or email using the details on this site — we receive whatever you choose to tell us, and we use it to respond to your enquiry.
Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site — which pages are read, which materials are of interest, and roughly where visitors are from. This is collected in aggregate. We do not use it to identify individuals, and we do not attempt to link it to any enquiry you send us.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and processes your IP address. If you decline analytics cookies, these are not set and no analytics data is collected from your visit. You can change your choice at any time using the link at the end of this page.
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. This site uses two kinds:
Necessary
One cookie records your cookie choice itself, so you are not asked again on every page. It stores nothing but your preference and cannot identify you. This cookie is always set, because without it we cannot honour your decision.
Analytics (optional)
Google Analytics cookies, set only if you accept them. They measure visits and page views. If you decline, they are never set.

Why we process personal data

To respond to enquiries about our materials or about mining opportunities on our concession; to supply materials and administer the resulting commercial relationship; to understand how this website is used, so we can improve it; and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Providing your personal data is voluntary. However, if you choose not to provide the details we ask for in an enquiry, we may be unable to respond to you usefully.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Personal data may be disclosed to: companies within the Hasil Perangsang Group, where needed to answer your enquiry; our service providers, including Google (analytics) and Meta (WhatsApp), who process data on our behalf under their own terms; professional advisers such as auditors and legal counsel; and regulatory or government authorities where we are required by law to do so.
Because Google and Meta operate internationally, data processed through those services may be transferred outside Malaysia.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any commercial relationship that follows, and thereafter for as long as we are required to keep records under Malaysian law. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period set in Google Analytics.
Keeping it secure
We take practical steps to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you; to request correction of data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date; to withdraw your consent to our processing; to limit processing for direct marketing purposes; and to enquire about how your data has been used.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and a small fee may apply to data access requests as permitted under the PDPA.
