A graduate of the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, with a Masters in Business Administration and Marketing. He worked for Land & General Berhad and PNSB Acmar, with solid experience in shopping mall development and the marketing aspects of retail planning, as well as project feasibility, business development and special project management.
As co-founder of Empire Group, which he helped build over 25 years, Dato’ Danny brings that depth of property development experience and a network that has proven a considerable asset to the Group.
Liew Kar Wai
Operational Director
More than 30 years in the sand mining industry, with knowledge of the Malaysian mining establishment that is well regarded by colleagues and peers. Previously with Silica Sand Mining, Cheong Fah Resources and Wang Si, and instrumental in implementing the Silica Mining Project for Asas Baiduri from 2004 to 2012.
Formerly Director of Zhong Fa Resources Sdn Bhd, and served in various capacities with partner company GuangXi Sequin Mining Co. Ltd., which operates across China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Laos and Malaysia.
Lee Hong Poh

Appointed to the Board in January 2016, bringing more than 40 years of working, managing and establishing companies across multiple industries. Previously Director at Wang Lik Rope Industry Sdn Bhd, where he built and led a fishing net production operation over ten years.
He has served on several industry boards, including BBK Resources Sdn Bhd, with extensive experience in construction, development and government authority liaison.
